Also, in the New York Times Magazine, there's an article about the health problems faced by the urban poor. When I saw the headline and teaser, I thought, "Yeah, of course the poor have worse health. They have less access to health care and prenatal care and things like that."

No. Read the article. If being poor in America means you're having heart attacks and kidney failure from the stress...well, what kind of country is this?
